GP Role: FIFO, locum, or permanent, great incentives, DPA location

We are looking for a GP to work in this private GP Practice in the East Kimberley region.   The practice provides a range of high-quality health care services to the residents of Kununurra, Wyndham, Halls Creek and extended communities.

The role is presented as either a permanent position or can be facilitated under a locum or FIFO arrangement.  If FIFO was your preferred choice, this would suit a GP that would be keen to split their time between working in the rural area and working in a metro location.  Telehealth would also be There can also be telehealth involved if they wish.

The conditions and services offered by this impressive medical facility are very attractive.  A large amount of consults are privately billed, patient demand is very high and there are additional rural incentive of $25,000 per year. If you have a special interest in working in Aboriginal Medical Services then this will be supported.  

GPs working under 19AB/moratorium can reduce their moratorium by half depending on their length of tenure.   $25,000 per year on top of their “salary” which will be about $230,000 per year FT.

Essential Criteria

FRACGP, MRCGP, MICGP or eligibility for the RACGP’s PEP Specialist Stream

This job is not suitable for doctors who require AMC part 1 and 2, or for those with General Registration
